Kimberly's Senior Session

I had a fun spring evening out exploring sites around Charlotte and Waxhaw and getting to know this very sweet young lady.  While the world sees her beautiful blue eyes and her georgous hair, I was able to get a quick glimpse into the real inner beauty this gentle girl has.  I loved how she knew exactly what style of pictures she wanted and had plenty of ideas for other shoots in her future.  Kimberly, congratulations on your graduation!!

The Eaton Brothers

Technically speaking, this was a photo shoot that we planned for this little six month old cutie, but how could we resist getting some pictures of these sweet brothers together..... so it sort of became a brothers session.  I love it!  This mama and I wandered around the neighborhood finding fun little spots to capture the best of these cute little boys.

Another visitor

We had another visitor in our yard this morning.... so cute!  This brings me back to the days when I had my own turtles, Myrtle and Mortoise.  We had California Desert Tortoises and they were my very first babies.  I loved those little guys.

Wildlife

So..... I was inside doing some photo editing today when I hear my sweet Labrador Retriever, Annie, going bonkers out in the backyard.  I figured it was just a gardener visiting the neighbor or a rambunctious squirrel.  I wandered outside to discover a very creepy and large six foot snake slitering across my yard.  It started to make it's way up into a tree when I captured these pictures.

The story ends well.  I followed this guy as he slithered across the yard and into the woods.  I felt slightly relieved as wiggled between the wire we have up on our split rail fencing leaving our property, but truly only slightly relieved.  As easy as this snake came in my yard, it just gives me reason to believe there are more of his friends out there.  What else it out in my yard?!?!?!
