Speight Family 2022

Oh my, I can hardly believe it's already been a year since I photographed this little guy... truly not so little anymore.  Although I do love those sweet little perfect baby teeth.  How much longer do you think those beauties will be with us before the big grown up teeth make their way?  Big kids are fun too. I love how mine have grown up, but still.... working with this sweet little guy brings back so many fun memories of times at the park with my kiddos.  During our session we had some fun at the park too.  Such special times playing.  Thanks for a great day!

The Bash Boys

The day I spent with these boys for their session is a sweet memory I'll never forget. These two have such a special bond that was lovely to watch. As someone that has close siblings as well, I value these relationships so much and really delighted seeing the love these brothers have for each other. 

For this session we spent the afternoon hanging out at their home and some favorite spots around town enjoying some final moments before they embark on a new adventure out of state. What I'll remember most is their silly and relaxed manner, our ease of conversation, and seeing their parents in both of these handsome boy's faces and familiar mannerisms.  Their mama is a dear friend of mine and I am blessed to have gotten to be a part of her life.  Her love for the Lord is evidenced to all and I especially loved hearing her children talk about their own their own walk with God. Their story is one I will look forward to seeing unfold....How God will use the talents they are blessed with will be an exciting adventure for sure.

Future photographer

My time outside today was spent with this lovely young lady on her birthday photo shoot. It was fun to meet up with this mom and her beautiful girl, dreaming of her future potentially in photography. The world is wide open to this one! She's also a devoted soccer player and a talented student. Thanks for a fun session!

Miller

With it being the week of Christmas, we were hard pressed to get in a quick session before the big day...but we did it!  This sweet grandmother and I are bible study friends.  If you haven't ever had the privilege of being in a bible study yet, I highly recommend getting involved in one.  You meet the neatest fellow believers like I have in this lovely lady.  This day I was able to meet two of her handsome grandchildren.  It was sweet to see this doting grandma care for her kiddos.  Forever bonds are really being created in the relationships she has with her grandchildren.

Anderson

These two brothers are truly friends.  Their mom picked the perfect song so be sure to check out my slideshow link below.  Giggles galore with these two.  I think they just looked at each other and were cracking up.  It was super cute.  Ah, brothers.  Forever friends - I love it!

Spring color

The south is lovely this time of year.... cool temps, almost zero humidity and color galore.  Here's a few images of my latest session with my girly : )

Georgia turns one!!

So this little cutie turned one!  I can't believe how quickly this year has gone.  She is the youngest of three and the last baby in our big family of 13 cousins.  To my youngest niece... happy birthday sweet Georgia!

Karen

So this is my sweet girly that we jokingly call Karen.  She calls me Linda.  I don't know how it all got started but this is my wonder that loves nicknaming people.  She's always up for a quick photo session.... no begging with this girl. Here's some of my favs...

A Brakeman Photo Date

About once a year (at least) I get each of my kids one-on-one for some sort of mini photo shoot.  Today was my date with my middle girly.  If you've ever been on a shoot with me, you know that I love the hanging out part.... and getting to hang out with my own kiddo is extra special.  We topped it off with a treat at our new favorite place, Brakeman's Coffee and Supply.  

... and then there were five!

I have so enjoyed getting to know this growing family and yes, they are growing again... expecting another little bundle this September.  I'm blessed to say that I knew this family when:  when these kiddos were teeny babies seeing them just days after they were each brought into the world.  It's fun to look back at those images and see the sweet little toddlers they are today.
