A morning at Disneyland

What a joy to get to spend a morning at Disneyland with this very fun family.  We wandered the park looking for neat spots to shoot.  I love it that this family of four included Grandma in on this special occasion. For myself, this was such a different shoot than any other I've ever done.  Crowds add a whole other element to photography.  But the location was just so much fun.  And these kiddos were fabulous.  I could hardly believe how they held up going from spot to spot (I think a few Skittles might have also helped out a bit!).  They were such great sports and were so willing to do whatever we asked of them.  Thanks so much to this family for a really great day!

Rancho Cucamonga Prom

My friend Maria asked me to take some pictures of her son, his girlfriend and all their friends for their high school prom.  This was a fun adventure, as I haven't even thought about prom or prom pictures since I went to my own prom a million years ago.  It was so fun to see all the girls dressed up in their beautiful gowns and the guys in their classy tuxes.  Even more fun was to see all the moms and dad snapping pictures of their children looking so grown up and fancy.  Maria and I had planned to do a great session at the park, but due to the pretty intense wind on this day we changed plans and met up at one of family's homes.  I think the challenge for the day was keeping the girls hair from getting too blown away in the wind.  Luckily everyone was in such high spirits I don't think even the crazy wind could ruin the day.  I didn't hear how the prom actually went, but knowing how excited they all were I'm sure the night was magical for all!

This very cute little girly was dressed in her own fancy dress-up dress.  While she was watching her big sister get ready for her big day, I can't help but think she is probably already dreaming of what her own prom may be like someday.

Here are the latest of my three cuties.  They are growing up too fast! 

A special spot and great memories...

I met up with this lovely family in Claremont.  When we were discussing locations for the proposed photo shoot we kept coming back to shooting at the colleges.  This couple was married there years ago.  It was fun that we were able to go to some of the same spots they had posed on their wedding day.  They even tried some of their wedding poses!  It's so special to choose a spot that has great meaning to you.  Now, years later, this loving couple have two adorable daughters.  A cousin joined up to help in the fun and to help keep the smiles fresh. 

A Precious Baby Boy...

I had the honor to spend some time with this very lovely family and their adorable newborn.  This little guy was just 11 days old and soooo precious, you could just eat him up.  I can hardly tell you how much fun it was to capture all those sweet little parts.... those teeny fingers, wiggly little toes, the softest skin, and I could just go on and on about this little guy.  The baby's older brother, at three years old, dances around his baby and seems to be completely comfortable with his new found role as big brother.  I hope you enjoy these cute images as much as I had taking all the pictures.

Spring

Spring is sprung up all around us.  I see these lovely tulips on the way to school each morning and I finally took a second to capture their beauty.  As always, my little beauty came along for the shoot.

Family Fun in Alta Loma

This mom and I rescheduled this session several times due to the constant rain we were having a few weeks ago (Thanks for being so patient!).  Luckily I was finally able to meet up on a beautiful sunny afternoon and get some great shots of this loving family.  Their two boys were so sweet when it came to getting their parents to smile for a couple shot.  They joined in and willingly gave me a hand to get the best expressions from their mom and dad. What great little helpers!!
