Seven is heaven
It's not often I post photo shoots of my own kiddos. My little wonder is at the beautiful age of 7. She still loves all the little girl things, being silly, and cuddling with her mama, but at the same time I'm starting to see the hint of the big girl to come. For now I'm just taking in every last bit of the cuteness of being 7. Here's a few from a quick shoot we did yesterday. The beautiful white dress was my choice and in typical Megan fashion she had her own idea for her next change of clothes. I love that she has her own ideas for what she wants to be photographed in. She's an original!

Sweet Senior Session
I had such a wonderful afternoon hanging out with this very sweet senior and her mom looking for fun places to shoot her session. I think my favorite thing about meeting with new people is hearing about all the fun details of their lives. I loved hearing about this senior's life.... her plans for college, her senior year, dancing and all the other stuff 18 years are into these days. So fun! I know I was 18 once a long time ago, but I don't think I had it all together like this girl. All the best to her on her new adventure in college!

Sweet Spring Session
Spring had just sprung when I met up with this sweet family. The amazing blossoms really set a great tone for this spring session. I had a ball hanging out with this super fun family. I love it that they set up a special photo session just to be sure to include grandparents that were in town for the weekend. The sweetness of these little girls really comes out in their images. I love the giggling these two did for our sister shots.

Seasons
I've never lived in a place that had seasons. I mean, technically of course I've lived with seasons, we all do. What I mean is that I've never lived in a place where I actually felt the seasons. That's probably what I love most about living here in North Carolina. Here's one spot in my world where I've captured the change of seasons for Summer, Fall and now Winter. I'd love to get spring as well, but it'd look just like summer. So for now I just have the 3 showing. Maybe I'll find a cool spot someday that could actually show all 4 seasons : )

Ava Ray
What a joy it has been to see this young family grow. When I first met them they had just one sweet
little boy. Now several years later that
same boy has a younger brother and sister!
It was a fun, pre-Christmas day when we got together to take the newborn
photos of Ava Ray. What an absolute
cutie she is! And while I did capture a
few of her crying (I included just a couple because they’re so adorable), she
truly was an amazingly calm baby to photograph.
I’m guessing this is due to the fact that she’s the 3rd. I think the 3rd child is destined
to be one to roll with the punches and go along with the program of a busy
house. I know my 3rd child
does too. Well….. enjoy these sweet
pictures of little baby Ava Ray. To see
the rest of our shoot please check out their slideshow at:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MPmw9JyMMVU&feature=youtu.beI don't usually post pictures of crying babies.... I mean, who wants to see a child unhappy. But crying aside, would you please take a look at this big brother comforting his baby? Could this be any more adorable. His caring gaze and loving touch is just too much for words.
