Happy Valentine's Day, Little Love

Happy Valentine's Day!  Here's a few from a mini session I was able to have with litte Miss Hallie.  What an adorable smile she treated me to.  Enjoy!

Ava Ray

What a joy it has been to see this young family grow.  When I first met them they had just one sweet little boy.  Now several years later that same boy has a younger brother and sister!  It was a fun, pre-Christmas day when we got together to take the newborn photos of Ava Ray.  What an absolute cutie she is!  And while I did capture a few of her crying (I included just a couple because they’re so adorable), she truly was an amazingly calm baby to photograph.  I’m guessing this is due to the fact that she’s the 3^rd.  I think the 3^rd child is destined to be one to roll with the punches and go along with the program of a busy house.  I know my 3^rd child does too.  Well….. enjoy these sweet pictures of little baby Ava Ray.  To see the rest of our shoot please check out their slideshow at:

I don't usually post pictures of crying babies.... I mean, who wants to see a child unhappy.  But crying aside, would you please take a look at this big brother comforting his baby?  Could this be any more adorable.  His caring gaze and loving touch is just too much for words.

The Sherrill Family

I'm used to more difficult photo shoots than the one I encountered with the Sherrill Family.  I didn't have to chase anyone down or act like a lunatic to get this group to smile.  What a relaxing time we had wandering around Freedom Park looking for the best light of the day.  This sweet family of 4 is about to transition into a family of 5... adding a new son-in-law next year.  Don't you love the shoot in vests, scarves and boots?  This bunch was off to go ice skating afterwards and were ready for adventure.  I love their spunky, fun energy.  To see the rest of the shoot check our their slideshow at:  https://vimeo.com/114904793

The Sugg Family

I have a special connection with this family.  This beautiful super mom was my personal welcome wagon here in Charlotte.  We had just moved to our new school and I was looking for ways to get connected.  This amazingly welcoming mom was so helpful in giving me a great beginning at our new school and for that I will be forever thankful.

The day we had the shoot was the beginning to some amazing fall days.  I love the colors that show through in their session.  Why, why, why is this season just so short!  I had a great time hanging out with this very good looking bunch, exploring all their special spots, and going down memory lane with cute pics of the past.  If you want to see all of their shoot, check out their slideshow at:  The Sugg Family slideshow
