Cherry Blossoms

The cherry blossoms are in full bloom here in the Carolinas.  I heard a storm is coming in tonight.  So I decided to head out and catch a few shots before the rain and wind destroy all the beauty of these amazing trees.  I couldn't believe how many bees are out and it's only February.  Where did winter go this year?  I can't wait for more signs of spring!

Makin' Cookies

The other day I gave Tyler a box of brownies and said "go to it".  40 minutes later he was pulling a beautiful pan of brownies out of the oven.  Ahhh!  Success!  My kiddo has learned how to cook.  I decided to test his skills a bit further with a batch of cookies.  Along with a little help from mom, he ended up doing a pretty darn good job.

A Date with Kate

Here's one of my Kate.  She and I went on a special photo shoot date and ice cream run.  She's truly my best model and loves to pose for the camera.  We took a ton of pics this day and had a ton of fun.

A Walk in the Park

I spent the morning with this very cute couple and their adorable dog, Peanut.  We wandered the neighborhood near their home and Peanut led the way.  It turns out she really likes to be head of the pack and insisted on walking at the front of the group.  She was super cute in her sweater and t-shirt.  It was fun watching these doggy parents with their baby.  They are all in love with eachother!

Just the girls

This was a great shoot at a beautiful location.  These girls were super to work with.  I hope these pictures capture the essence of their relationship because this mom sure has a special bond with her girlies.  That's what I want my pictures to be about.  I want you to be able to feel the connection I'm seeing in my lens, and these girls have just that... a great connection.  Hope you enjoy.  To see more of their shoot, check out their slideshow at:

Autumn Color

Fall in Charlotte has been a beautiful experience.  The change is amazing.  In these pictures, I've tried to capture some of the glorious color we are seeing.  I love it when you drive in the area, around every corner is yet another example of amazing fall color.  I am loving it!!!

I know I already had a picture of an acorn, but I really loved this image too.
