The Padgett Family

I met up with this large fun family on the weekend just prior to Christmas. I loved it because although they were not going to be able to be together for the actual day of Christmas they were getting together to celebrate on the only day they could. To mark the occasion we scheduled a photo shoot just prior to their family festivities. And even more fun was the inclusion of their family camping van. I've not had a request to include a RV before, so it was a fun first for me : ). This family also has the 4 sister thing.... as the oldest of 4 girls too, I felt a special connection to this group of sisters. Sweet Baby Caitlin

One morning this last week I was able to spend the most relaxing morning with a very laid back mommy, Laura, and her ever-so-adorable little Caitlin. It was fun sharing stories about our kids, comparing how different it is with the 3rd child as opposed to our newborn experience with our 1st child. And while helping out one of her older kiddos, this mom gave me the extreme privilege of cuddling her little one. The Bridgman Family

Last Saturday I had the extreme privilege to get to spend this morning with a very sweet baby girl. This little one was just so relaxed.... not really ever super sleepy, but certainly relaxed enough to let us play and get some cute shots.
I loved how in love these new parents are with their baby.  I enjoyed chatting with them about how crazy in love we all are with our kids.  Isn't it amazing that these little ones, that are so much work, can bring the most amazing joy into our lives?  I know these very well prepared parents are going to truly enjoy all the fun that little Emily is going to bring into their lives.

The Hacker Family

I loved the fall colors in these pictures!  The Hacker Family and I had fun at a ton of spots on this shoot.  We went on a driving session, scouring the countryside for the best spots to capture some fun moments among these three.  It's easy to see how close these girls are with their mom.  What a truly blessed family they are!

Welcome Baby Gavin!

I spent a perfectly wonderful afternoon with this sweet little bundle.... Gavin Thomas Ross.  What a cutie!  And at just 11 days old these parents had it all together.  What a crazy time it can be with a newborn, yet you'd never know it with this couple.  I had a wonderful time getting to know them and hearing their love story.  What a blessed little boy to have this great family to call his own.  To see this shoot in it's entirety, check out the slideshow:  https://vimeo.com/79976263

Fall Fun

My girls were out in the front yard today raking leaves.  They're still at that age where the main object of raking the leaves is making fun piles to jump in.  Nevermind allergies or leaves in your hair.... they don't care.  They are just out to have a super time.  Here's a quick few shots they allowed me to take before they got back into the mess.
