A special family visit was what inspired the shoot on this beautiful spring morning. I think what I'll remember the most is the endless energy this little girl has. She's a joy and shares her smile with all she comes in contact with. God has gifted her with amazing parents that have such a gentle way with this sweet girl. It's a beautiful thing to watch.

My time outside today was spent with this lovely young lady on her birthday photo shoot. It was fun to meet up with this mom and her beautiful girl, dreaming of her future potentially in photography. The world is wide open to this one! She's also a devoted soccer player and a talented student. Thanks for a fun session!
This Southern girl, her mama and I all met up at this very beautiful barn for a lovely afternoon senior session. I think I've said this a million times before, but there really is nothing like an afternoon photo shoot with a pretty girl and an amazing location. We had a ball touring this sweet property, finding spots for the perfect pose and just having fun. Try to forget that I fell in a hole and teetered regularly on my ladder. All that said, these photos do capture the sweetness of this vivacious Southern beauty. I'd never heard the Tim McGraw song she chose for her slideshow but it is definitely a new favorite. It was one of those chilly fall days when we met up for this socially distanced photo shoot. In this time of Covid the rules have sure changed. Photos in masks, maintaining distance, etc. But still we managed to meet up to commemorate 2020 with a great photo shoot. These grandparents are truly the sweetest wanting to capture some precious memories with their beloved grandsons.

It's not often that you can say you met someone on an owl walk, but that is exactly how I happened to meet this mom. A local bird shop offered evening walks along a trail with a nature guide and it was along this trail in almost pitch black darkness that this mom and I chatted about photography years ago. So it was quite a delight when she contacted me about creating a photo shoot for her family. And boy, did this family chose a beautiful fall day with amazing color for their photo shoot. We truly were blessed with some gorgeous backgrounds for their lovely family.
